Fosters Needed For Cats & Kittens

Foster Homes Needed for Felines – Kitten season is not exclusive to springtime, as we receive calls for assistance throughout the year, with kittens arriving as early as January. To support our community, we require compassionate individuals to volunteer as foster caregivers for cats and kittens. If you possess the space in your residence and time in your schedule to assist us, we would greatly appreciate your contribution. You must be willing to provide a temporary residence for the cats until they are adopted. River City Cat Rescue (RCCR) will provide sustenance, litter, and cover necessary veterinary expenses, including spaying and neutering. You will be required to transport the cat or cats to veterinary appointments and adoption events at Petco on Greenback Lane in Citrus Heights on Saturdays and Sundays. While in your care, the cats must be kept indoors exclusively. Potential foster homes will undergo a home evaluation by RCCR to assess the environment’s suitability. If you are a renter, you must obtain permission from your landlord. It is acceptable if you already have pets in the home; we will collaborate with you to determine compatibility prior to placing any cats in your care.
